About the Val di Lima events calendar
Why
are you doing this and why is it in English?
We are English and live in the Val
di Lima. We often have huge problems discovering what is happening locally as
there are many sources of information, for example the local tourist offices,
multiple newspapers and news sheets, banners suspended in the main streets of
Bagni di Lucca and other places, posters on the town hall noticeboard, notices
in bars, notices in shops, notices in churches, notes left under rocks in public
places, and word of mouth. For the benefit of the local English-speaking community,
English-speaking visitors, English-speaking locals and (primarily) ourselves
we dedicate this site.
Where
do your event listings come from?
All of the places detailed above, from people who complete our online events
form or send us e-mail and from various other sources.
I did
not want my event listed - how can I get it removed?
Please send an e-mail to events@valdilima.com and we will remove it.
I tried
to go to an event listed in the events diary but there was nothing happening
when I got there!
Welcome to Italy! It happens us too and was one of the reasons for wanting
to do this. The listing here are checked and frequently updated so that they
are as accurate as possible.
